It was the first time we stayed at the Rancho. What a nice experience! We were warmy welcome by hostess Jenny, a Canadian who has been living here for quite some time. She first took us to our room, then showed us around and let us meet the horses. We already went riding that first afternoon – and it was a great experience. The horses are well trained and there’s one for everyone. We used to ride a lot when we were younger, but opted for a calm horse this first time.

Apparently, you don’t forget how to ride, even after 30 years! It’s a bit like riding a bike.
