From Stretching to the Saddle

Yoga at Rancho Las Cascadas is designed with horseback riders in mind. Our 45-minute beginner friendly flow yoga start at 7:15am in the Crystal palace over looking our Cascadas (waterfalls). This yoga class offers a easy approachable way to start the day before heading out for a ride.

The focus of this class is to work on stretching, mobility and of course gentle movements, working on the hips, legs, back and shoulders, where our horseback riders feel it most. No prior yoga experience is needed to join the class. Movements are simple, paced and adaptable making is the perfect session whether you have practiced yoga before or you are just stepping on to the mat for the first time.

We like to let everyone know that this is not a high-intensity workout or a complicated class. It is more about loosening stiff muscles, improving balance and helping your body feel ready to get into the saddle. Many guest find that even one class makes horseback riding feel more comfortable.

Please note that yoga sessions must be booked the day before to ensure availability. It is a calm and practical addition into the Rancho life. Take this as a chance to take care of your body so you can enjoy horseback riding and the days ahead.
